Christmas Weddings
Before I forget… Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and yours!
As we reflect on the beautiful moments that 2024 brought, it’s also a wonderful time to think about future celebrations, particularly those enchanting winter weddings that sparkle with magic and warmth. When planning your winter wedding, consider the allure of seasonal colours and textures—think deep greens, rich burgundies, and soft whites that evoke the season’s charm. Don’t forget to incorporate cosy elements like blankets for outdoor moments and hot drinks to warm your guests. Planning for shorter daylight hours means you can create a stunning atmosphere with twinkling lights, candlelit centrepieces, and a well-thought-out timeline that allows for breathtaking sunset photos. Embrace the unique beauty of winter and let it inspire every detail of your special day, turning each moment into a cherished memory. For more on Winter Weddings see my Blog post here:

2024
As I navigate the waves of uncertainty brought on by Anna Marie’s illness, I find solace in the joyous moments shared during various weddings this year, each celebration a beautiful reminder of love and resilience. These events, filled with laughter, tears of joy, and heartfelt connections, have not only lifted my spirits but have also allowed me to channel my passion for creating unforgettable memories for couples embarking on their journey together. Balancing the challenges at home with the delight of witnessing new unions has painted a vivid tapestry of life, where the bonds we cherish shine even brighter amidst adversity, reminding us all of the importance of love, support, and togetherness through every season of life.
Christmas / New Year 2024
The enchanting season between Christmas and New Year is not only a time for celebration and reflection but also one of the most popular moments for proposals, as many couples are swept up in the festive spirit and the warmth of togetherness, making it the perfect backdrop for a heartfelt commitment.
It then follows that just after this period is one of my most busy for enquiries. This is something I absolutely love. Hearing all about couples’ plans for their perfect day and helping them figure out timelines and arrangements to engage their family and friends in what will be one of the most memorable and important days of their lives.
How I can help
If you’ve found my website and Blog today, as you’re scrolling the internet looking for ideas for your 2025 wedding (or beyond), then you’ve started well. Have a read through some of my previous Blog posts. These are on all sorts of topics and are my way of trying to share some of my knowledge and ideas about weddings and how I can help you. Not everything ends up linked to my Social Media (I forget), but it’s all here, so have a good mooch about. Best of all, ping me a message and let’s arrange to meet up and you can tell me all about your wedding plans and I can offer you even more help and advice.
If it’s not you who’s getting married (I know that lots of people who aren’t getting married read and follow my website and Blog) please pass on my details to anyone you know who has become engaged over the Christmas and New Year period – I’d love to help them.
Another Blog post that you’ll find really helpful is this one from a couple of years ago:

Why me?
I think that, ultimately, the best “selling point” for me is my previous clients. I’ve added some of the reviews from weddings over the last year so that you can read what couples have said after I’ve been a part of their weddings:
One of my many reviews from clients:
We booked Alan because we could tell from the first call that his service was totally different to what anyone else was offering. He was incredible, went above and beyond before our wedding and on the day itself. We were kept on the dance floor all night with a very eclectic mix of music, guided by a few choices we’d made in advance. Alan and Andrea absolutely made our day and handled a couple of caterer issues so that we could stay cool and focus on our guests. If you’re still considering it, book a call with Alan and you’ll know right away why he’s a different class. Amazing DJ and top class master of ceremonies, our wedding wouldn’t have been complete without them. Thank you so much.
Alan was Master of Ceremonies and DJ at our New Year’s Eve wedding and was absolutely fantastic! Our wedding would not have been the same without him. His DJ Set was brilliant and really got the party going. However, not only did Alan and his son ensure that the day ran smoothly, but his support and advice throughout our wedding planning process was invaluable.
If we were to do it all again, one of the first things I would do is hire Alan, and I’d recommend anyone else planning a wedding to do the same. Not only will you end up with a brilliant DJ and MC, but you will have someone that can help guide you through the process and put together a great wedding!
We hired Alan on the recommendation from someone else. We weren’t disappointed! His service was outstanding. He was very professional, very friendly and listened to and acted on our requests. He has a gentle and calming personality, just what you need in the frenzy of wedding planning!
All of our guests commented on how good he was. We simply couldn’t have asked for better and we are very grateful.
One of the highlights was Alan’s beautiful love story, which he read before our first dance. It added a truly magical touch to the evening that our guests still talk about. Their energy and enthusiasm kept the celebration lively, and we are incredibly grateful for their hard work and dedication. We can’t thank Alan and Ru enough for making our wedding unforgettable!
